- Select the “Settings” (or “Preferences”) option.
- In the settings window, navigate to “Build, Execution, Deployment” > “Build Tools” > “Maven”.
- Click the “+” button to add a new Maven configuration.
- Choose the Maven installation directory in the pop-up dialog box, and then click on “OK”.
- On the Maven setup page, you can configure various options for Maven, such as the location of Maven’s local repository, user settings file, and global settings file. You can also set up proxies and mirrors for Maven.
- Click the “Apply” or “OK” button to save the configuration.
Your IntelliJ IDEA is now configured with Maven and you can start using it to build and manage projects. You can configure the Maven build of your project by defining dependencies and plugins in the pom.xml file within the project.
Before configuring Maven, make sure you have installed Maven and added the installation directory to the PATH environment variable.
