How to export logs in Graylog?

You can export logs using one of the following methods:

  1. Export via the Web interface: In the Graylog web interface, select the log stream or search results you want to export, then click the “Export” button. You can choose to export in CSV, JSON, or GELF formats, and select the fields you want to export.
  2. Exporting using REST API: You can export logs using Graylog’s REST API. By sending HTTP requests, you can specify the log streams, time range, format, and other options to be exported. For more detailed information about the API, refer to Graylog’s API documentation.
  3. Use command line tools to export: Graylog provides several command line tools for exporting logs. For example, you can use the “search” subcommand of the graylogctl command line tool to perform a search and export the results.

You can choose the most suitable way to export logs based on your needs and preferences, regardless of which method you choose.
