How do you start the Windows Command Line tool?
To launch the Windows command line tool, follow these steps: 1. Open the start menu: click on the start button (usually located at the bottom left corner of the taskbar), or press the Windows key on the keyboard. 2. In the search bar of the start menu, type “Command Prompt” or “cmd”. 3. In the search results, click on “Command Prompt” or “Command Prompt (Admin)”. Choosing “Command Prompt” will open the command line tool with normal user permissions. Choosing “Command Prompt (Admin)” will open the command line tool with administrator permissions. 4. The command line tool window will open and display the command prompt (usually a “>” symbol). You can now type commands in the command line tool and press enter to execute.
