How to convert nvarchar to varchar in Oracle?
In Oracle, you can use the CAST function to convert NVARCHAR to VARCHAR or VARCHAR to NVARCHAR. Here is an example:
- Convert NVARCHAR to VARCHAR.
SELECT CAST(N'你好' AS VARCHAR2(10)) AS converted_text FROM dual;
- Convert VARCHAR to NVARCHAR.
SELECT CAST('hello' AS NVARCHAR2(10)) AS converted_text FROM dual;
In the previous example, we used the CAST function to convert NVARCHAR to VARCHAR, or VARCHAR to NVARCHAR, and display the converted results in the query.
