How to disable the firewall on CentOS?
- Turn off the firewall using commands.
First, use the following command to check the current firewall status:
systemctl status firewalld
If the firewall is currently active, you can stop it and disable it by using the following command:
systemctl stop firewalld
systemctl disable firewalld
- Turn off the IPtables firewall by using the command.
If you are using IPtables as a firewall, you can stop and disable IPtables using the following command:
systemctl stop iptables
systemctl disable iptables
- Reboot the operating system.
Finally, restart the operating system to apply the changes.
reboot
