How does Win11 display desktop icons?

By default, Windows 11 does not display icons on the desktop. However, you can follow these steps to show desktop icons:

1. Right-click on a blank area in the taskbar and select “Taskbar settings”.
2. Scroll to the right side of the settings window in the taskbar and locate the “Desktop Icons” section.
3. Open the “Desktop Icons” section and choose the icons you want to display on your desktop, such as “This PC” or “Recycle Bin”.
4. After making your selection, close the taskbar settings window.
5. At this point, you should be able to see the selected icon on the desktop.
