How to clean cache files in CentOS?

There are several methods to clean cache files in CentOS.

  1. Clean up Yum cache files by using the following command:
  2. Clear all cached package data using sudo yum.
  3. Clean up dnf cache files by using the following command:
  4. Remove all cached files.
  5. Clean up temporary files:
    Use the following command to clean up temporary files:

  9. Clean system cache by using the following command:
  10. Execute the “sync” command as a superuser and then write the number 3 to the file located at “/proc/sys/vm/drop_caches”.
