How to export data from SQL Server?
You can export SQL Server database data by following these steps:
- Open SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
- Locate the database in the Object Explorer that you want to export data from, then right-click on the database and select “Tasks” > “Export Data”.
- In the “Export Data Wizard,” select the data source from which you want to export data (such as SQL Server database) and click “Next.”
- Choose the target data source (such as Flat File, Excel file, etc.) and click on “Next”.
- Select the table or view from which you want to export data, specify the location and format for the exported data, and then click “Next”.
- On the “Mapping Columns” page, review the column mapping and click “Next”.
- On the “Set Export Actions” page, select the action you want to perform (such as creating a target table, deleting existing rows), and then click “Next”.
- Check the settings on the “Complete” page and click “Finish” to start exporting the data.
The process of exporting the data may take some time, depending on the size of the data and the speed of the network. Once completed, you will find the exported data in the target data source.
