How to import a Git project into an idea.

There are several steps to import a Git project into Idea.

  1. Open IntelliJ IDEA, go to the “File” menu, then click on “New” -> “Project from Version Control” -> “Git”.
  2. In the pop-up dialogue box, enter the URL of the Git repository or choose a local Git repository folder.
  3. In the “Clone Repository” dialog box, choose the path of the local repository and select the directory you want to use.
  4. Click the “Clone” button to start cloning the Git repository.
  5. After the cloning is complete, IntelliJ IDEA will automatically open the project, or you can manually open it.
