How to install software packages on Ubuntu?
There are generally two methods for installing software packages on Ubuntu.
- Open the terminal and enter the following command to install the software package.
sudo apt-get install 软件包名称
For example, to install the Firefox browser, you can input.
sudo apt-get install firefox
- Navigate to the Software Center by clicking on the “Applications” menu in the top left corner, selecting “Software Center”, typing the name of the software to be installed in the search bar, and then clicking on the install button to proceed with the installation.
Whether you install a software package through the command line or through the software center, the system will prompt you to enter your admin password to confirm installation. Once installed, you can find and open the newly installed software in the application menu.
