What are Spark event logs?

Spark’s event logs are generated during the runtime of Spark applications and are used to track the execution process and performance metrics of Spark applications. These logs contain various events within the Spark application, such as task initiation, completion, and failure, job initiation and completion, as well as RDD creation and destruction. By analyzing these event logs, one can understand the execution status of the Spark application, helping to optimize performance and debug issues. The event logs can be viewed and analyzed through Spark UI or Spark History Server.
